Glad I stuck it out and saved him in ME3. I actually thought Gerrel was fairly pleasant in ME2 and that maybe he could be reasoned with eventually. This time around, heh, I punched him after I got back from the mission. I'm a Paragon, but hey, I'm willing to mix it up a bit - especially when someone almost kills me while I'm trying to save his fleet. By sorentoft - Wed Mar 14, am. By Maria Caliban - Wed Mar 14, am.
The Paragon decision without any Renegade decisions leads to Tali killing herself. I don't think that's right. But Paragon players seem to live a fantasy within a fantasy and they can't do no wrong. I made peace between the Geth and Quarians with all Paragon decisions and Tali didn't die. There's a blue option to convince the Admiral that leaving his troops is the best thing to do for his people. Maria Caliban Status: Offline.
Once committed, in my book, you go to win. A playthrough from saves from ME1 and ME2 that were raw with no metagaming, no forum reading, and no walkthroughs, tends to have a bunch of mistakes carry through, and a bunch of missed quests.
Same with this play of ME3. Just winging it. I usually play paragade. In this one I just felt this was an opportunity to finish this once and for all. Total committment. Quarians do have the largest fleet in the galaxy. Found it interesting helping the Quarians was more renegade decision, while helping the Geth was more paragon.
Does this mean helping the Reapers take the galaxy would be more paragon since they represent order and organics represent chaos? Requires: The completion of Rannoch: Admiral Koris mission and convincing Admiral Koris that he be rescued instead of his crew. When Admiral Zaal'Koris sacrificed his vessel to save a liveship, the Civilian Fleet thought they'd lost their leader.
After Commander Shepard brought Zaal'Koris back, he passionately argued that the safest action for the Civilian Fleet was to stay with the flotilla. His captains rallied and stayed. The story of Zaal'Koris's miraculous survival on geth-infested Rannoch has spread throughout the flotilla, making him a reluctant hero as he mourns the loss of his ship and crew. The Civilian Fleet makes up most of the quarian flotilla. Properly coordinated, the fleet compensates for its lack of dedicated warships with its sheer numbers.
Even its smallest crafts are equipped with ship-to-ship weaponry. The civilian liveships, enormous floating gardens that produce food for the quarians, have also been fitted with massive Thanix cannons to provide heavy firepower.
Rewriting the geth heretics significantly boosted the processing power of the "true" geth. Their increased strength made their fleets both more efficient, and more lethal, in battle. When Admiral Zaal'Koris's ship was destroyed, some Civilian Fleet captains panicked and attempted to flee the system. They were cut down by the geth before they could escape through the mass relay.
Geth fighters attacked one of the liveships during the battle for Rannoch, significantly damaging one of the Civilian Fleet's most powerful vessels. Deleting the geth heretics depleted geth numbers, giving the quarians an advantage when their flotilla began the assault on Rannoch. Gerrel gives heavy fleet war assets VT Never Forget. Go Hokies!! User Info: Phoenixmon2. I dunno how it affects everything, but I kicked Gerrel off the Normandy, but supported him in that argument.
