The summer of was the golden age of fashion blogging, and street-style photography and fashion social networks like Chictopia and Lookbook. If someone were to crack open a fashion time capsule from that time, a Lita would certainly come tumbling out. She says it took a few months for the shoe to gain traction among consumers, but once bloggers like Rumi Neely and Wendy Lam began pairing them with leggings, moto jackets, miniskirts, and thigh-high tights, it took off.
Lindsay Lohan wore them to Coachella one year. Even David Hasselhoff was seen in a pair at one point. Still, it was versatile enough to attract a horde of fans, regardless of their sartorial preferences. They're also very comfortable, though many people seem to not believe me when I say that, haha. Basically ALL heels are way uncomfortable on me oh my god, this sounds so gross, but i have bunions , are they actually comfortable for people who have been genetically burdened with bad feet?
They're kind of overdone at this point. They were never my style either. Josje S. I have 4 pair of the real jeffrey Campbell lita. I have the distressed leather black, mint suede, navy suede and beige. I like them and they are actually pretty comfortable, but it's not a shoe to wear if you are tall though.
