If he was 5"10, which he obviously wasn't, then why is he at least three inches shorter than Dave on every single pic? Grohl is six feet dead on. Kurt was not 5" He looks 5' 8'' is the vid for sure. Courtney is 5' 10 almost 5'11, and there are pics which make her look taller and some with the same height, but there are more pics of dave and kurt together, in which kurt looks a legit 5'9. You can see when he stand next to Novoselic he's about 1 foot taller than him, Grohl is about inches taller than him in his videos. Channing, who was 5'5 looked about inches shorter than him. Police records always get people's heights wrong. I'm 5'11 and they listed me as being 6'1 when I got arrested. The bottom line is, Kurt was a very thin, frail looking man with scoliosis. He was 5'10" but due to his scoliosis he appeared MUCH shorter since it causes your spine to curve. It is absurd to base this on what you THINK he would have looked like in person, or what some BS artist claims when they "saw him in person".

I'm convinced. Just look at how much taller Grohl was than him. He was easily 5'7 and doesn't appear any taller than that. Grohl has about 5 inches on him. That's about right. There is a enough picture evidence of him standing next to Grohl and Grohl is probably 5'11 to 6'0. Which would make him somewhere in between 5'7 or 5'8. Plus I've seen him in real life and that's what I'd guess. This height needs to be changed by about 2 inches shorter. It's obvious he wasn't that tall.

There really is no point in even arguing it. I'm more than happily to provide this. My estimate of him would be a guy that is somewhere around 5'7, 5' We would watch him in Seattle when he still played in bars and he was really small. I think Kurt's a classic 5'10" - 5'9. I think Rob's peggin' him short by a centimeter. I loved his role in the movie though. I don't know who he is, but he can't be more than 5ft4. He gets 5ft9. Not below 5'9". Kalle M?? What is his peak height? Mel is consistently taller than 5'8" guys. I bet Kurt would have only been slightly taller if he had worn Reeboks like Mel.

With that said, Kurt was taller barefoot unless he was getting near 2" from his footwear and I'd expect his shoes to have much more of an angle if that was the case: Click Here. Kurt also appeared slightly taller than Andy Garcia in The Mean Season and footwear didn't seem much of a factor there. What's sort of strange is comparing Kurt to other ish guys.
